Shiatsu massage is a traditional Japanese technique of natural healing that is based on the body's energy meridians and works with the body's energy pathways to restore balance and health. The application of finger pressure is used to effect systemic changes in the body. Shiatsu massage involves pressing points on the body, stretching and opening of the energy meridians. Shiatsu massage is normally done fully clothed and is administered either on the floor or on a specialized "body" cushion
